Earth Day Activity in Talgarth, April 2025

28 April 2025

Talgarth Biodiversity Day

In recognition of the 55th World Earth Day, Talgarth held it's own Biodiversity Day on April 22nd 2025. World Earth Day is recognised by over 1 billion people globally as it has now become a movement to protect the earth and nature.  There is power in collective action even though it may seem overwhelming at times.

There are things that we all can do such as adopting eco-friendly Sink Solutions to stop pollution through chemicals, making one less short car journey on a regular basis and making your 1 Metre Matter for nature.

Let's make it Earth Day Every Day

There were lots of environmental actions suggested by visitors to the event, which we are delighted that Talgarth Town Council will be looking at for future initiatives.

Thanks to all who came along.
