Our friends Hay Regenerative Soils are part of the Science Corner at Fungi Festival this weekend.

Come and peer into the hidden world beneath our feet: there will be three microscopes ready to go, so everyone gets a chance to explore the incredible creatures of the soil.

Got compost or soil at home? Bring along a little sample! We’ll pop it under the microscope together and chat about what we find: from wriggly nematodes to Fungal hyphae. We can even share tips on how to boost your compost.

It’s the perfect chance to try your hand at using a microscope, meet the tiny allies living in your soil, and maybe even leave with a new appreciation (or friendship!) for the underground world.

All donations go to Hay Regenerative soils CIC, supporting a carbon-neutral, community-led food system in Hay-on-Wye.
