Inspiring the next generation of green thumbs

Martin Draper from On The Verge is creating a network of natural world wonders.
On The Verge is a Make a Difference Green Award finalist. On Tuesday July 29th BBC Radio Wales went along to Our Tiny Veg Growers group to see one of the many projects Martin has founded in his local and wider community.

OUR TINY VEG GROWERS is a very important part of this and our volunteer Jane said
"Martin met The BBC at Jackie & John's WILDINGS WILD FLOWER MEADOW to show them and film the beautiful meadow in all its glory. Many passers-by comment on the environmental benefit of this beautiful, wildlife habitat.
OUR TINY VEG GROWERS were visited just after and were recorded by the BBC, showing and explaining to them how important it is to sustain our natural habitats and environments and get the message out there about GENERATIONAL AMNESIA 'memory loss that can harm the planet by not keeping our lives environmentally friendly and protecting our habitats NOW... not next week or next year'.
OUR TINY VEG GROWERS although nervous told them what we are doing and why we are doing it... to save our planet for the future, THE CHILDRENS FUTURE.
WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THESE GROUPS FOR THEIR SUPPORT OF:
ON THE VERGE 1METRE MATTERS....and
OUR TINY VEG GROWERS."
